Tips on beating The 4th Survivor” in Resident Evil 2 Remake

Fri,Dec 19 ,2025

Beating The 4th survivor extra in Resident Evil 2 Remake is ome of the hardest things to do, some people stuck there easily, it can be really frustrating and impossible to beat for some players, well, this is what it’s all about, testing your skills, in this article we will share tips om how to successfully beat Hunk’s escape, the 4th survivor in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Only combine to make shotgun shells. The pistol is practically useless – I only use it to stun one zombie early on.

A few key points to WALK, DO NOT RUN:

The basement hall immediately past the garage. The crawling zombie won’t reach you if you keep moving. Run once you have the door in sight – the Licker and the dog behind you won’t catch up.

The hall on 1F West following the office with the dual-lock puzzle

After clearing the zombies barging into the waiting room on 2F (I prefer using a grenade and shotgunning the survivor) walk the hall until the stairs next to the chief’s office

Immediately after descending the ladder at the chopper crash site – there are two Lickers outside your FOV to the left and the zombies by the door won’t activate until you can get through the door. Right before this, run a wide circle to get to the ladder so the G creature is evaded.

Save your grenades as much as possible. The crowd of zombies and Ivies at the courtyard will be much more manageable and having one on hand in case an Ivy grabs you will stop the one-hit kill.

Kill only what you need to kill and keep moving. Most of the enemies can be avoided by simply staying on the go. I tend to magnum the zombies I need to early on and rely on the shotgun once I’m out of the sewer.

Once you reach the extraction point, if you have magnum ammo left (I usually have two bullets), you can drop the Tyrant chasing you and unload everything else on him. Not necessary, but it’s a nice catharsis
