Tekken 8 Teases Winter Update and Season Pass 2

Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed new details about Tekken 8 in a video released on Sunday. The video offers a glimpse into the game’s upcoming winter update and the second season pass, scheduled for a spring 2025 release. Additionally, the company hinted at a major announcement at The Game Awards on Thursday.

Tekken 8: A Fighting Game Powerhouse

Released on January 26, 2023, Tekken 8 arrived on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game launched with a robust roster of 32 playable characters, including series mainstays like Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. By February, the game had already surpassed 2 million copies sold worldwide.

Tekken 8 continues the series’ long-running narrative, set six months after the events of Tekken 7. The franchise holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running video game storyline.
