The Nintendo Switch 2’s launch lineup is starting to take shape, though much remains a mystery. Currently, the only officially confirmed title is a brand new Mario Kart game. A glimpse of this title, featuring a desert-themed track called Mario Bros. Circuit, was shown in the Switch 2 reveal trailer. Details about characters, gameplay, and a release date are still under wraps.

Beyond Mario Kart, a selection of indie titles, including Aurascope, Bestiario, Littlelands, and My Time at Evershine, are expected to be available at launch.

Intriguingly, rumors suggest that Xbox games may also be coming to the Switch 2. While Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has hinted at titles like Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 being potential candidates, no official confirmations have been made.

More information about the Switch 2’s full game lineup is expected to be revealed during the “Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2” event on April 2, 2025. Until then, speculation and anticipation continue to grow.
